Discovery NotesThe soil sample was found under a tree near the General Academic Building at the University of North Texas. The sample was taken at 9:06 AM on January 20th, 2016 when it was 8 degrees Celsius. The sample was taken from about 3 inches into the soil and the soil itself was dry, dark, and very fine in texture.
