| Discovery Notes | Collected February 2nd at 4:15pm. The temperature was 38°F and the dirt was 19cm deep. The sample was collected from the soil under a tree near the ARC. It was a moist soil sample with some small twigs and rocks. It was collected from an area close to a parking lot and that may experience a bit of foot traffic, however the sample was collected from a spot under the tree that does not experience any foot traffic. |
| Naming Notes | After we spilled some of the phage fluid that came out of our webbed plates that we were flooding onto the table, we doused it in CiDecon. A reaction occurred that caused the phage fluid and CIDecon mixture to turn into a pretty blue color, making it look like an oil spill. |
