Discovery NotesThe soil in my garden bed was mostly wet after an overnight rain. My garden bed consisted of onion plants and green onions. The soil sampled was around 7-10 cm deep.
Naming NotesThe name of the phage comes from the fact that the phage was sampled from a soil near a growing onion plant in my garden bed. It is the third phage name in phagesDB that ends with -phile.
