Naming NotesWhen I was thinking of what to name my phage I was also thinking of my grandpa (on my mom’s side), his last name is Perone (pronounced: Per-On) It’s also my mom’s maiden name and she’s an amazing and inspiring person. I also thought that a bacteria plate with phage can look like a slice of pepperoni in a way. So, this was my way of choosing a kind of silly, yet meaningful, name. Pronounced: pep-per-On.
