Discovery NotesThis phage was collected from a patch of grass, somewhat down in a dead patch that was no larger than 3in^3. The spot barely allowed us to fit a spoon down to grab some of the soil as well as some of the grass roots. We collected roughly 15mL of hard soil and roots.
Naming NotesLooking at the names of existing phages, the idea of replacing an 'F' with a 'Ph' was not only fun, but it makes the phage easy to recognize.
