Discovery Notes | The soil sample was collected on September 16, 2010 at 9:12 AM, two steps in front of Brandt Hall Student Housing at Virginia Commonwealth University. The temperature was 67°F. It was a cloudy day with a gentle breeze. The soil was collected 5 inches below a mulch topped ground next to flowering plants and tiny bushes on a small decline. The consistency of the soil was damp, soft, and chunky. |
