Discovery NotesCollected soil from (33.209088°N, -97.1485631°W) at 9:53 p.m. in Denton, Texas. The temperature was around 81 degrees F and had 75% humidity. The location is in front of an old oak tree near a road. I dug about 2 centimeters below the surface of the soil and placed it in a plastic bag (filling ¼ of it with soil). The soil appears to be dark, extremely dry, and almost has a gritty texture.
Naming NotesThe inspiration for this phage name came from the food called "pickle cupcakes."
