Discovery NotesSally Blakely collected our soil sample in early January. She dug into her backyard in Missoula Montana in -20 degree Fahrenheit temperature.
Naming NotesSally and Ainsley had a hard time figuring out what to name their phage until they had a conversation with their teacher about burns. Both Sally and their professor have a similar burn on their hand from making pizza. So, it seemed fitting to name their phage PizzaBurn.
