Discovery NotesThis phage was found from soil under my friend's grandparent's compost bin, ambient temperature 20ºC.

Genomic DNA was sequenced on a ONT Minion, R10.4.1 chemistry using rapid barcoding V14 and PCR amplification. The sequence was assembled into one contig of 17,594 bp with 100% query cover, 99.6% identity to Jeon (W). This sequence appears to be incomplete based on its shorter length than to cluster W phages showing close alignment.
Naming NotesI named my phage Pollock after Jackson Pollock's 1950 painting: 'No.1 Lavender Mist'. I like this painting, and the splatters reminded me of my splatter-looking plaques.
