Discovery NotesDiscovered next to the Rideau River, underneath a tree! The soil was new alluvial damp soil. There were so many phages to pick from, but I decided to choose this one due to its larger size.
Naming NotesPrismatic Barrier is the ability of a champion in LoL, Lux. It works as a shield in the game. The capsid is in a sense a barrier for the genomic DNA, and it looks like a prism - hence the name Prismatic. I thought it was fitting for a phage that may contribute to "defeating" bacteria and pay a bit of homage to the capsid that prevents the degradation of the genome that allows this to happen.

Plaque NotesLarge to "Giant" plaques, each of the plaques was a bit foggy in the middle, perhaps indicative of a temperate phage. The fog would show more at the higher spot titers values. It took about 520 plaques to make a webbed plate.
