Discovery NotesThis phage was found in February of 2017 on the Gonzaga University campus. The coordinates match up with a building named College Hall. My soil sample was taken from just under a bush by the side of the building, 2 inches below the surface.
Naming NotesMy phage, Circe, is named after an ancient Greek goddess of magic. Circe was known for transforming her enemies and her great illusions. I believe this matched with my phage since phage Circe appeared to change morphology halfway through the semester.
