Discovery Notes | The weather was cold and the soil was somewhat frozen due to the snow and cold weather at which the environmental sample was collected. The time of year this was collected was in January of 2020. |
Naming Notes | The meaning of our phage name came from the fact that our phage failed us and our experiments did not come out as planned and therefore we called it rogue and since it kept failing we called it the assassin. In the end we combined the two names and came up with rogueassassin. |
