Discovery NotesThe phage was found in a flower planter on the University of Ottawa Main Campus.

SChomper's genome was sequenced using Oxford Nanopore, found to be 92% query cover, with 91.73% identity with CallinAllBarbz phage, of the FP cluster.
Naming NotesThe phage was named after the host. I chose to look at phages like they are eating the bacteria, Chomping it so this phage is the chomper of A. sulfureus. The S comes from the sulfureus looking like Sulfur.
