Discovery NotesWe find SaikiK in the soil below a tree. It was covered in grass and had a very clay-like texture. Based on our soil tests it did in fact have a very high concentration of clay. The soil was very moist with a texture of slip. We found SaikiK on a sunny day in September in the fall.
Naming NotesWe chose the name SaikiK because SaikiK is a very cool dude, and this needed a phage named after him. Additionally, we both watched the show growing up and have fond memories surrounding it.
