Discovery NotesI collected my soil sample from a small patch of grass from an off campus dormitory called Victory hall ( 33.20183 N, 97.15848 W)Denton, Texas. The sample was collected at approximately 8:38 pm and the temperature was 37 degrees Fahrenheit with clear skies. I chose to collect the sample at that location because it is right next to the bus stop where a multitude of people step every day and the different bacteria's from each person that steps around that area could produce different types of phages.
Naming NotesI named my phage after a city in Puerto Rico called San Sebastian and I just shortened it to "Sanseba".
