| From enriched soil sample? | Yes |
| Isolation Temperature | 22°C |
| GPS Coordinates | 33.79813 N, 84.31183 W Map |
| Discovery Notes | Soil was collected from a dry spot near a tree in Lullwater Nature Preserve. The soil was sandy and had no plant growth. A homogeneous stock was obtained through three rounds of purification. Lysogens have been successfully obtained for this phage, suggesting a temperate life cycle. |

| Plaque Notes | On standard plates (0.4% top agar, 100 uL host), plaques are tiny, very turbid, and almost invisible. On modified top agar plates (top agar diluted 1:1 with phage buffer + 10% glycerol to a final 0.2% agar; 25 uL host), plaques are large (4.5-5.5 mm, n=10) and turbid with variable clear centers. |
