Plaque NotesOn standard plates (0.4% top agar, 100 uL host), plaques are tiny, very turbid, and almost invisible. On modified top agar plates (top agar diluted 1:1 with phage buffer + 10% glycerol to a final 0.2% agar; 25 uL host), plaques are large (4.5-5.5 mm, n=10) and turbid with variable clear centers.
