Discovery Notes | Our original soil samples were obtained on 8/22/23 at Morehouse College, more specifically at a dirt patch on the west end of White Hall, next to a red fraternity sign. The depth of the sample was 2 inches, and the approximate temperature was 95 degrees Fahrenheit. |
Naming Notes | Our phage name is a simplified combination of both partner's last names. "Shearer" and "Vaughn" combine and then simplify to create the phage name "Shervaun". |
