Discovery NotesSoil was extracted from a plant. The extracted soil was most because the plant was watered previously. Soil was collected at 9:00 AM. Extracted soil was collected 5 inches below surface level. The soil contained some rocks and leaves and was black in color.
Naming NotesThe plaque was named BlaquedOut because the first time I attempted to isolate the phage; the plate was full of contamination. I found that "BlaquedOut", a pun on the phrase "blacked out", would be a satirical, yet apt name.
