Discovery NotesSoil was collected off of boardwalk path in Calvin University nature preserve. Soil was mud-like in texture, and was very dark with smoother consistency.
Naming NotesPlaques on the phage I isolated were too difficult to see, so I adopted a phage from my friend's soil sample - my friend's name being Andrew Slagter. I named this phage Slagter in honor of the friend who I adopted the phage from.
