Discovery NotesThe soil was collected from North Lakes Park in Denton at 5:45 PM on January 22, 2023. The soil was in a grassy area near a pond. Around ½ inch of soil was removed from the surface and discarded, then 2 spoonfuls of soil were placed into a plastic bag using a disposable plastic spoon. The soil was dark in color and was damp, presumably because of its proximity to the pond.

Weather conditions: 10 °C, 39% humidity, sunny, no recent precipitation
Naming NotesBecause the phage was collected at a pond, the name "SlippyToad" seems fitting. Slippy Toad is the name of a character from the popular video game Star Fox 64.
