| Discovery Notes | The ground was frozen solid, because it was 14 degrees Fahrenheit when we found our sample. The sample was taken from a garden on our campus, but all of the plants and greenery was long dead due to the cold of Winter. We found our sample on January 16th, 2024. |
| Naming Notes | My partner and I are both rowers here at Gonzaga University. On a boat there is a starboard side and their is also a port side. My lab partner and I row on different sides of the boat, I am a starboard and she is a port. So we combined our sides and named our sample "starport" to honor both sides. |
