Discovery NotesWe found the soil sample in the SUNY Old Westbury campus, more specifically on a road behind the Natural Science Building. The dirt was located under a shaded area of a tree with an organic, dark colour quality. Additionally, there was a small amount of sediment on the soil. Despite raining the night before, the soil was dry, with the ambient temperature being 27 degrees C at 72% humidity.
Naming NotesInitially, my lab partner and I couldn't think of a name. As such, Aaron decided to ask some of his close friends for suggestions (since Aaron likes to name things after his friends). His friends gave the name "Lithophage", which was translated into English as "StoneEater" in order to meet the naming guidelines.
