| Discovery Notes | Sample gathered outside of a dorm building on the Saint Joseph's University campus. This area is a designated smoking area. The area was very dry. It was a sunny day-78 degrees. Took the sample off of the surface, it was a hard dry ground could not dig deep. |
| Naming Notes | My original sample failed many times so by the fourth time I gathered a new sample and it worked the first time so I named it tank-indestructible. |
| Sequencing Information | |
| Sequencing Complete? | Yes |
| Date Sequencing Completed | Jan 23, 2015 |
| Sequencing Facility | Pittsburgh Bacteriophage Institute |
| Shotgun Sequencing Method | Illumina |
| Sequencer Used | Illumina MiSeq |
| Read Type | Single-end reads |
| Read Length | 150 bp |
| Approximate Shotgun Coverage | 2522 |
| Genome length (bp) | 67592 |
| Character of genome ends | Direct Terminal Repeat |
| GC Content | 62.9% |
| Sequencing Notes | Appears to have one clearly defined end, and the other end is ambiguous. It does seem like there's a terminal repeat—as indicated by a coverage bump—even though there's no exact left end. So I selected a left end where the coverage bump begins to dissipate. The direct terminal repeat is ~589. |
