Discovery NotesWe collected this sample from the rose bed across from St. Aloysius and sitting directing beside College Hall. The soil was damp and was taken from about an inch below the surface.
Naming NotesTanto was named because it was the only phage present in our sample from the very beginning. Its name was derived from the movie "The Lone Ranger" because it was the only one there.
