Discovery NotesMy phage was extracted from the soil found in front of a residence hall on the campus of Howard University by the name of Harriet Tubman Quadrangle. The sample was taken from 6.4 cm deep in the soil, which was 28 degrees Celsius.
Naming NotesI named my phage "Tubby" because of the fact that he was found at a historical location named after Harriet Tubman. Originally my phage was named Milo but two other classmates chose the same name as well.
