Discovery Notes-Collected soil sample from the roots of a green bush in a garden bed near College Hall, a historical building on campus.
-Collected at night on January 27, 2014
-Isolated one phage after many series of dilutions and plaque streaking assays.
Naming Notes-We choose TwoLucky because our first sample did not contain any phage to infect the smeg, therefore we had to try again with a different environmental sample.
-We were lucky our second time finding phage in a soil sample.
