Discovery NotesCollected on August 26th, 2019 at 9:10 AM underneath a live oak tree on Chestnut street. Due to the arid air for the week preceding the sample collection, the sample was dry. Temperature at the time of collection was 89 F. The soil was a light brown color, and contained some organic matter (sticks and leaves).
Naming NotesWe named it WaterHeater because the micro-centrifuge tube it was in reminded me of a water heater.
