Discovery Notes | The soil was collected in the afternoon and was moist. It was dark brown and had worms, with flowers surrounding it which supports the growth of bacteria. The plaque was adopted from a classmate though, so the soil information is hers. |
Naming Notes | When I was collecting my original soil sample, I found a yellow spider crawling around with other worms and insects. This is why I named it Yellowbug. |

Plaque Notes | Throughout the entirety of the lab, my plaques were lytic. The plaques were not cloudy and had clear edges. The diameter values ranged from 0.9-1.1mm. The PFU/mL is 2.8 x 10^9. |
