Discovery NotesFound in moist organic soil from under a row cover adjacent to a yellow zucchini plant. Direct isolation plate was webbed. With dilution the phage formed small plaques and appeared pure. Klug and Zucharescens were isolated from the same soil sample on related hosts, but the RE digest suggests that these are distinct phages
Naming NotesNamed after the zucchini plant.
