Discovery NotesSoil is damp and full of organic matter. Worms found in soil site. Sand is present in the soil in small amounts. Found approximately 0.3 miles inland from Lake Michigan. Sterile water was added to the sample after collection.
Naming NotesThe Angeleyes phage is named after one of my favorite songs, "Angeleyes" by Abba. The plaque morphology also resembles eyes as the plaques will clump together in pairs.
