Discovery NotesThe phage was found 3-5 inches below the soil surface. It rained two days prior so the soil was still damp. It was determined that the soil type was sandy loam (71.43% sand, 25.71% silt, and 2.86% clay) with a pH of 5.5.
Naming NotesThe last name Kukla is from the owner of the house where I collected my soil/ phage.
