Discovery NotesWe collected a dirt sample from the flower beds outside of Hughes science building at Gonzaga University. We attempted to grow our phage at 37 degrees celsius and no plaques formed. When we did the same thing but at room temperature (about 25 degrees celsius) plaques were formed. Our titer was found to be 2x10^9 pfu/mL.
Naming NotesThe name for this phage came from our creative imagination.
