Discovery NotesAn environmental sample was gathered that would contain a phage for later isolation. This sample, comprised of a moist dirt, was taken from the north eastern shore surface of Gonzaga's nearby pond--on open ground approximately 6 meters from the water's edge and 30 cm from the grass. Additionally, this area is often open to the sun and was collected during the mid-afternnon.
