Discovery Notes | The phage was collected from a mulch bed on the upper campus of the University of Pittsburgh. It was a rather sunny and hot morning. The mulch bed contained many rose bushes with some shrubbery. The soil sample was collected and carried in a climate controlled compartment in my backpack for about fifteen minutes. |
Naming Notes | My phage name is in honor of the best artist behind the all holy Young Thug. That is, Playboi Carti. His baby voice, colloquially known as the baby voice heard around the world, speaks volume about the intricacies of our current time. |
