Discovery NotesThe soil in which the phage was found was moist and grainy. In the first round of enrichment plating there were 10 plaques which were large and round. The environment was damp.
Naming NotesI named my phage BalloonParade since it’s a Siphoviridae as it has a flexible tail which reminded me of a string attached to a balloon. The name wasn’t taken and it was under 14 characters long.
