Discovery NotesI got the soil sample from under a tree near the Cathedral of learning on 3/25/24. Temp 63F, 20% humidity.
Naming NotesFeliMaine simply means "Maine the cat". Feli is from Felidae, the cat family. Maine is my orange tabby who got to Pittsburgh in 2023. Similarly, phage FeliMaine is the first phage I brought to the Hatfull lab in the following months.
