Discovery NotesI discovered my soil sample right next to the Cathedral of Learning in Pittsburgh on our campus. The soil collection spot was located behind the cathedral in a planter near some bushes. It was 92 degrees Fahrenheit and the collection site was in shade.
Naming NotesI collected this sample on my birthday, September 10th and I turned 20 years old that day. September's gem stone is the sapphire (blue color) and it happens to be my favorite color. So I wanted to name it Blue20, for the month and age that I turned.
