Discovery Notes | The sample of soil I obtained is a very rich and dark color of brown. It is rather chunky, and the dirts are clumped together in small groups. The soil seems very thick, yet contains some moisture due to Hurricane Irene’s rainfall. To add another factual observation, hornets were seen dwelling and making their homes in the soil. |
