Discovery Notes | The soil sample was collected from the area under a tree, and there was a lot of gravel on the surface. It was collected from one of the dining halls near a residential area in the University of Massachusetts. |
Naming Notes | We had to go back and change our first picked name, Gurldinner, that was realized it does sound like a homophone and was overlooked as a requirement. One of our group members came in and proposed the name "Burntbagel". There is no origin of the name, just a new take on the phage name. |
