Discovery NotesI collected this sample from the intersection of Fifth Avenue and South Bouquet Street. The coordinates were 40.444835 N, -79.953922 W. There was an area of patchy grass and some uncovered soil towards the edge of the lawn. When I went to collect the soil it was Wednesday, January 18th at 3:50 pm. The weather was similar to the conditions in which I collected my second sample, it was 40 degrees F and dry out. It was a little difficult to break through the surface but after that the soil was more pliable. I collected about 1/4 of a cup of soil.
Naming NotesI named this phage after my little brother and my interest in the Spanish language. His name is Carl James (CJ) and translated to Spanish it is Carlos Santiago.
