Discovery Notes | The soil sample containing the phage was from frozen soil found in a grassy area beside the sidewalk next to the horseshoe at the Northern Apartments at Umass Amherst. |
Naming Notes | Our group selected the name “Carrera” because we all agreed that we like this name and it is easy to pronounce/say. The name comes from the Porsche Carrera, one of our favorite models of Porsche cars. |
