Discovery NotesCollected soil from( 33.21098° N, 97.14892°) in south eastern Denton, Texas. The temperature was about 30°F in the morning. The location is on the edge of a lawn near the union near trees. I dug about the top 1 inch of soil from between the tree roots and placed in a plastic bag.
Naming NotesI have named my phage after the Marine infantry unit that i served with and deployed to the middle east with twice. I chose this because my first pick "Otter" was to close or already taken by other phages.
