Discovery Notes | The weather was 56 degrees, I dug 2 inches below the soil to gather the sample. It was a rainy day, and the location is a flower bed outside of a greenhouse. |
Naming Notes | This name came from the greenhouse manager on campus Chuck Cody. He has taken care of the SBS greenhouses for 30+ years and has managed graduate research, and prepared materials and plants for teaching purposes. He truly has dedicated himself to botany and supports the STEM presence on campus. |
