Discovery NotesThe soil from which this sample, and consequently the phage, was found happened to be very water saturated and muddy. The temperature was below freezing with snow falling and present on the ground.
Naming NotesMy phage is unique in that it requires phage buffer without glycerol to survive. I wanted my name to reflect that uniqueness so I named it crown because of its ability to separate itself from other phages.
