Discovery NotesSoil sample taken on 9/12/2025 around 1:10 PM. The weather was sunny and slightly dry, soil dug a few inches under a crape myrtle outside planetary hall. I had forgotten the original soil sample I wished to bring at home, and quickly grabbed this.
Naming NotesNamed after the song, ‘Dr. Sunshine is Dead,” by musical artist Will Wood. The song was released on his 2016 album, “Self-ish,” and explores ideas of identity and the growth and change a person experiences. The song is not only catchy to me, but its messages and meaning resonate with me.
