Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected on February 19, 2019 at 46.7294° N, 117.1654° W. It was 25° Fahrenheit outside and the ground was covered in a few feet of snow which made the dirt quite wet and almost frozen. The soil sample was taken at about two inches of depth. The sample was collected at the base of a tree which is located right next to a sidewalk in front of Morrow Hall on WSU campus.
