| Discovery Notes | The soil was found near the edge of a small creek just outside the gates of a house on Old Dominion Drive, Mclean, VA, 22102. Cluster of trees surrounded the creek with a fallen one collapsing half way down the bank. The temperature was 90F and the weather was hot and sunny. |

| Plaque Notes | Dot's phage originally came from large lytic plaques, mostly ranging 8mm-9mm. There were some smaller sizes, the smallest being 0.5mm. However, each time I made a plate with Dot's phages, the size ranges always came out the same and the type were lytic, indicating that Dots had the same kind of viruses. |
