The soil sample was collected on Flagstaff Hill, which is a grassy area. It's right next to CMU buildings. The surrounding area is grass. The dirt appeared gray, and it was very dry. There was a bit of trouble while initially filtering the sample since it was very chunky, but it was eventually filtered out.
