Discovery NotesSample was collected from the Kinnickinnic River on the campus of UW-River Falls. A tongue depressor was used to dig about 4 centimeters down into the river bank and collected the sample into a ziplock bag for my Biology 160 class. Soil was located in a slightly shady area on the river bank with high moisture levels, the color of the soil was a dark, cool brown.
Naming NotesThe name of this phage was inspired by a combination of my last name and the word "phage".
