Discovery NotesAt 8:13pm on August 19, 2025, I went to North Lake park in Denton, Texas (33.2445235, -97.1467007) and dug approximately 1-2cm into the ground near some sun flowers to obtain a soil sample. After that, I collected ¼ of a sandwich bag full of soil. The temperature outside was 97° and the soil was dry enough to crumble as you scooped it.
Naming NotesI named it after a really important person in my life who served as a mentor. He guided me through some really tough times and made me the person I am today.
